No Fears for my Canon
With another silly idea and another willing person saying ok I now bring you my next set of time laps from the inside and the outside of a Snowcat.

This one is a lot shorter because of the large amout of shaking that lossened my battery grip.

I am currently taking suggestions as to what to attach my camera to next.

Indian Food... NEVER AGAIN
So this evening I suggested to my girlfriend that we have Indian food for dinner. Outside of them screwing up our order everything tasted like crap. If I never have Indian food again that would perfectly alright by me

Back to something that people might find interesting.

After about 3 years of using the same pc I have finally stepped up my gear. I have been running out of storage space for the past year deleting anything that wasn’t important or couldn’t be replaced. So the main upgrade was going from 200 gigs of storage to 2 terra bites. It sounded like a nice round number so I just went with it. Also added was another Pc, two 19" wide screens LCD monitors and a 32" LCD monitor as my primary display. Also included in the setup are 8 gigs of RAM, 1 Belkin flip KVM switch, HPs awesome wireless keyboard and mouse. Finishing off the package with a 12” by 9” wacom tablet is the icing on the cake.

Please do not drool on your keyboards…

Bad idea gone well
Who ever said don't mount $3,000 of photography equipment on the hood of your car is a big baby.

During a recent trip to NYC I made a stop at the photographers candy store (B&H). I purchased a few items to mount my camera gear to any non-porous surface, such as the hood of my friends SUV.

Below is the result of 144 images being thrown into a quick time file.

Equipment used
Canon 40D body with Canon Vertical Battery Grip
Sigma 15mm Fish Eye Lens
Canon Timer Remote Controller
Lexar 8 Gig Compact Flash Card
Manfrotto Tripod Head
Manfrotto 3500 Pump Cup with Flat Base
Manfrotto Avenger F1000 Pump Cup with Baby Swivel Pin
2 Manfrotto Avenger D200 Grip Heads
Manfrotto Variable Friction Magic Arm

WARNING
This was done with a normal tripod head. I advice against trying this if you are unable to securely attach the other cup to the main rig to act as a backup support and to reduce the amount of pressure on the main setup.

First Blog
4 weeks after the new site goes live and I am finally getting around to posting my first blog.

First things first mad props to Brendan Ambrosia (he picked his middle name) Fitzgerald for redesigning my site. Check out his site listed on my links page.

Once I finish putting my computers back together I will post pictures of my new setup. Be prepared to be jealous
